5th General Assembly of CAFIPLA in June
The CAFIPLA consortium is going to meet in our coordinator’s home city of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) in northern Spain for their 5th General Assembly meeting.
CAFIPLA will unlock the potential of currently un(der)used biogenic waste streams as feedstock for the bio-economy by implementing an innovative and pragmatic approach to biomass pre-treatment. As opposed to the current bio-economy schemes dominated by sugar-based transformations, the CAFIPLA project relies on the combination of a Carboxylic Acid Platform (CAP) and Fibre Recovery Platform (FRP), to valorise biomass into biochemicals, bioproducts, feed and biomaterials.

The second part of our webinar series “From organic waste to biochemicals, Part 2: How to valorise biowaste” took place on March 17th, 2022. The focus of the second part was on the targeted CAFIPLA products.
We invite you to the second part of our CAFIPLA webinar series “From organic waste to biochemicals”. Part 2 will focus on the CAFIPLA products and their production processes.
CAFIPLA webinar: From organic waste to biochemicals Part 1: How to pre-treat biomass We are happy to announce our first CAFIPLA webinar. In this webinar, you will get insides on: What CAFIPLA process is about How biomass pre-treatment can be done in a more pragmatic way Why biowaste valorisation is important for biowaste processors What […]
